It has a plywood floor that I would like to end with either truck or epoxy. I need something that will cling to oil/fuel leaks and tire cigars. I have Epoxy-Coat in my workshop. Does anyone have experience with this? They sent me from my tractor seat. _____________ The one who dies with the most toys, still dies. It worked pretty well. I can tell you I've put something professionally in the berliner of my new truck. that things are going anywhere. He picked up a ton of wood pellets and the guy who carried them in a skiing with a forklift didn't have it all the way, and then pushed them. I was nervous, but not a scratch. In my trailer, the only bad points are where the backlash came, I think. mx500 05-16-2016, 11:41 AM # vbmenu_register("postmenu_5743169", true); Senior Member Join the date: April 2012 Location: on the kegerator Posts: 809 Re: Closed trailer plant Some members have reported good results w/Rustbullet as well. _____________ The problem with America is stupidity. Put them under your tractors and help catch most of the oil by cleaning much easier, especially when you use it as a camper. _____________ Eric Too much is... Pretty much. I used Rust Bullet in my 26's closed racing caravan. Four or five coats. Like so far. Sufficiently smooth things roll easy. Enough texture that is not slippery when wet from the rain. Oil and fat and ATF are easily cleaned. A friend used the bed linen that looked good on his trailer, but my cars tend to run away and I was preemptive about cleaning the oil bed linen, gear lubricant, ATF, etc. Not probably with Rust Bullet. _____________ 1000sf independent garage/race, in underfloor heating, sink/indoor. 2011 Chevy HHR (my daily driver) #90 Heilig-Meyers Ford Taurus... #5 Schneider National Chevy 1999 Suburban 1500 - 26' Bravo trailer closed 1999 Conversion of Billing Trainers A lot of tools, but never enough! I think I'm leaning towards making epoxy at this point. I have Line-X on my truck bed that I love but the dealer said my little 7x12 trailer and ramp would cost $2000. I can buy Herculiner, Duplicolor or Rustoleum roll in bed clothes for about $200. I know the epoxy product and how it is resistant to oil and gas. It is also a beautiful product. It's not much more than the bed linen. I rolled on the epoxy floor and stayed perfect for next year until I sold the trailer. I ran away every weekend so my car was in and out a lot and had zero problems. The rest of the racing trailers had aluminum floors so I didn't do anything to them. minytrker 05-16-2016, 11:20 PM # vbmenu_register("postmenu_5744649", true); Senior Member Join the date: Nov 2013 Posts: 143 Re: Closed trailer plant Look at the U-pol Raptor liner for a good flap spray. You can use black or get the inkable version. I think 4 bottles will make a truck bed. I sprayed a jeep bath and the bottom of a 63 Impala with great results. I'm thinking of spraying the inside of my trailer with him. I just hit the plywood before installing the electronic track on the trailer. It's kept up a lot of oil spills over time. You take about $200 Canadians at the time. It is destined to roll on a garage floor (I have a leftover piece of it under my wife Ford Falcon - that catches lol leaks) chevy3100truck 05-20-2016, 02:28 PM # vbmenu_register("postmenu_5752638", true); Alliance Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: Grand Junction, CO Posts: 4,853 Re: Closed trailer plant We just got the final approval in a new tow floor size 8.5 x 32 small coins in black or grey. I decided against the epoxy because I was afraid that it would break and shake in the joints of plywood due to flex, humidity and expansion and contraction. I was also concerned about the movement of tyres in the epoxy. I choose Monstaliner due to chemical makeup and the ability to choose the finish I want it depends on how much I roll the second coat. Monstaliner is also available in colors. Take a look at your website. Thank you for all your suggestions. I'll send photos of the process. I'm not very happy with the results. The finished texture has a sand as a finish. Not what is shown on your website. This was supposed to be a textured surface that could manipulate with additional product lamination. Oh well, at least it'll be more resistant to slip. I'll have to call them on Tuesday to see why it turned out like that. Here are the mandatory photos. Two coats with rolling light.
