Romanos 8 39 Biblia Catolica - bedlinerRomans, 8. Therefore, no condemnation already weighs on those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit that gives life in Christ Jesus freed you from the law of sin and death. For what was impossible to the law, reduced to impotence by the flesh, God, having sent his own Son into a like unto that of sin, and in order to sin, condemned sin in the flesh. so that the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us that we follow a conduct, not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit. Indeed, those who live according to the flesh desire the flesh; but those who live according to the spirit, the spiritual. For the tendencies of the flesh are death; but those of the spirit, life, and peace. Since the tendencies of the flesh lead to hatred of God: they do not subject themselves to the law of God, they cannot even; so those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, for the Spirit of God dwells in you. He who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, even though the body is already dead because of sin, the spirit is life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to mortal bodies by His Spirit who dwells in you. So, my brethren, we are not debtors of the flesh to live according to the flesh, for if you live according to the flesh, you shall die. But if with the Spirit you make the works of the body die, you will live. Indeed, all who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. For ye received not a spirit of belief to fall in fear; but ye received a spirit of adoptive children that makes us exclaim: Abba, Father! The Spirit Himself joins our spirit to testify that we are children of God. And, if children, also heirs: heirs of God and coherers of Christ, for we suffer with him, to be also with him glorified. For I believe that the sufferings of the present time are not comparable to the glory to be manifested in us. For the anxious expectation of creation desires the revelation of the children of God. The creation, in fact, was subjected to vanity, not spontanely, but by him who subjected it, in hope. to be freed from the bondage of corruption to participate in the glorious freedom of the children of God. For the creation entirely groans to the present and suffers pains of childbirth. And not only her; also we, who possess the firstfruits of the Spirit, we ourselves groan in our interior longing for the ransom of our body. For our salvation is in hope; and a hope that is seen, is not hope, for how is it possible to expect a thing that is seen? But waiting for what we don't see, is waiting patiently.. And likewise, the Spirit comes in the help of our weakness. For we do not know how to ask to pray as is right; but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with ineffable groanings. and he who scrutinizes hearts knows what the aspiration of the Spirit is, and that his intercession for the saints is according to God. Moreover, we know that in all things God intervenes for the good of those who love him; of those who have been called according to his plan. For to those who knew beforehand, he also predestined them to reproduce the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers; And to those who predestined, those also justified them; to whom he justified, those also glorified them. In front of this, what shall we say? If God is for us, who against us? He who did not forgive his own Son, but delivered him for all of us, how will he not give us all things with him? Who will accuse the elect of God? God is who justifies.. Who will condemn? Is Christ Jesus, who died, and even he who rose up, who is at the right hand of God, and who intercedes for us? Who will separate us from the love of Christ? The tribulation?, the distress?, the persecution?, the famine?, the nakedness?, the dangers?, the sword?. as given Scripture: For your sake we are dead all day; treated as the slaughterhouse. But in all this we come out victors thanks to the one who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor present nor future nor powers. neither height nor depth nor any other creature can separate us from the love of God manifested in Christ Jesus our Lord.
